When I decided to design a personal website, having a blog seemed essential and useful to me... and now I am actually asking myself why am I doing this!?

Here are some answers:
~ A blog turns out to be a nice personal archive about things that inspire and stuff one thinks about. (In most cases this will be a "sporadical" and "spot-wise" archive and will not be complete...)

~ Maybe a blog is a way to be "part of a public community"...

~ ...or one just wants to take advantage of new technology to easily publish content!? (It seems that technology does influence us more than we might think.*)
